more bad news

My in laws are doing some remodeling and have taken up the carpet on the stairs. This left the wood stairs exposed Well my father in law decided to check out how a face plant would feel and went down them. 26 stitches in the face and several bruised ribs was the out come. He's a tuff old navy man so he'll be okay but if you've not had bruised ribs then I can tell you there isn't much that is more uncomfortable. You can"t sleep or breath or get comfortable at all. The stitches are probably nothing compared to the ribs. Just glad he is okay.
