Well Mrs Volway and myself,Went up to our Ky farms Sun to check some cams and look for some "Rutting Activity".While heading up on I24 seen quiet a few dead deer on side of the road,So that usually means one thing,IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO THAT TIME!!!!

Yes it is, I picked up a nice big 8 pointer off the road the other night, Rattling horns and a awesome looking cape for someones use. BH

Yeah that is how we can tell it his getting close here as well. I seen two just yesterday and I know that CA has been seeing a bunch up and down the highways here. We just need some colder weather to get them really started.

There are deer splattered all over the parkway I take to work. For the city folks they have big message boards on the side of the road that say "CAUTION DEER BREEDING SEASON", lol.

Like TG said, we are seeing the same thing up here. Saw a small buck this morning running along the side of the road with his nose to the ground.

They are definitely getting curious here in PA as well. Hopefully the temp stays lower and we get a little bit of snow.... cant wait for the weekend...the rut is finally here.
