Bobcat in a trap

My buddy caught this bobcat in one of his coyote sets and in new york you can kill them so we have to get them out alive. you wanna talk about a treat we have it down pretty good now but the first couple where a little scary. I think he caught 4 last year that had to be released. dont mind the daye i took a pic of the pic with my camera and the date is wrong on mine

like my son said that is cool, there used to be alot of them here. but dont see them very often anymore

Thats one of the awesome things about trapping, you never know what your going to get!

Ya you never used to see them here and now there are becoming alot more of them running around here.

I'm not sure I'd be very interested in tryng to live release one of those. They can be nasty

Oh ya they can We have video footage of releases one of them. Maybe I can get a copy and send it to you or maybe I can figure out how to post it on here for guys to see. We called the game department here when he caught the first one to get help releasing it they told us we where on our own and had to release it alive or we would get in trouble. Talk about interesting.

Talked to my buddy this morning he said he still has the footage of releasing the cats so we are going to try and figure out a way to put it on the computer if I cant maybe I will just send it to one of you guys that can do it.
