I'm a Grandpa!!! (Updated)

Well yesterday I became a Grandpa!!! My 19 year old daughter had her baby......he was only 26 weeks (40 weeks) is normal.

I got the call last week while at the Colts game that she was in labor, and that they were trying to stop it. so they transported her to Indianapolis. They were able to hold him off for 6 days.

He weights 2 lbs 2 Oz 13" long Tiny little guy!!!............ But he is doing well, they even had babies in the nursery that were under 1 lb!!!!!

he is on a respirator which is normal and feeding tubes......... he will be in the hospital until he reaches his due date....April 25 or until he's 4-5 lbs

So over all he is doing well ......... man I cant believe I'm a Grandpa!!!!! WOW seems like only yesterday my daughter was being born!!!

The black cover on his eyes keeps the light out, they use the light to clear up Jaundice which is pretty common in premies

Well I haven't updated this since he was born................ He was 15 weekds early, about 3 weeks in he got a bad infection, Doctors told us it didnt look good.......... well about 2 weeks later he was still hovering around 2 1/2 pounds. The infection went away. And every since then he has just grown. He came home in Mid March.

Now he's nearly 9 pounds

That's awesome. Still seems weird to see her with a child. She was only about 14 or so when I first met her. Glad the baby is doing well
