Here are some nice changes for the fall turkey season in Indiana
Changes coming for this fall's wild turkey season
A series of changes will be in effect for the fall wild turkey hunting season, including adding 16 new counties for the fall firearms turkey season and opening all counties for the fall archery turkey season.
Other changes include:
*
adding seven days to the early archery portion of the fall turkey season
*
adding a second (late) archery turkey season to coincide with the late deer archery season (they are at the same time).
*
expanding the fall turkey firearms season in the south for seven more days (12 days total – including two weekends).
The season dates and locations are as follows:
An individual can hunt a wild turkey with archery equipment, including crossbows, statewide, from Oct. 1–31, 2010, and from Dec. 4, 2010–Jan. 1, 2011.
An individual can hunt wild turkeys with legal firearms from Oct. 20–24, 2010, in the following counties only:

An individual who hunts wild turkeys from Dec. 4-19, 2010, must wear hunter orange.
