Anybody in here an avid user of crossbows? I have a viper rattler made by pse and am having a hard time getting it to shoot a close grouping. I found suggested bolt on another site and was going to see of yall thought this could be my problem. I'm shooting 20'' bolts btw

Sorry no help here, I haven't shot one in over 15 years. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you are cocking it in the exact center of the string. If it's off a little bit it can cause loose groups.

I don't use one either. Lots of rules about them in Indiana

Could you be punching the trigger or jerking/tourquing the crossbow at the shot? Probably not the problem but something to keep in mind...

I shoot like I shoot a rifle, so I'm defintly not 'pulling', but pulling the string back exactly the same each time could be the problem... I have one hand so it makes pretty difficult to pull the string equally on each side. hmmmm

Not legal here in KS. unless you have upper body dissability and written DR. proof.

Just wondering if you were ever able to get your xbow shooting well? There are several cocking aids avaiblable that would assist you with getting the string pulled back the same each time.

Hope you are enjoying the great outdoors today!
