As most of you all know I was able to harvest a really nice buck on September 15th which is our opening day here in MD. After hunting hard and doing a lot of filming for some of the other guys on our staff it all finally came together again last Thursday. I was able to harvest a decent racked buck that is mature. I normally would not shoot some thing that is this small but he is older than he looks. This buck has been around the block a few times and is almost fully mature. I just dont think he had the genetics to give him a big set of horns. This buck makes number 5 on film for Abnaki Outdoors. We still have until Jan. 31 to get some more on film and we will all be hunting hard. Almost cant wait until the season is over so we can start working on our second dvd. I know with all of the footage I have seen so far this thing should be awesome.
