I apologize if this has been posted or mentioned before but I just got done reading Bill Winke's blog from last week entitled "taking hard hits". I haven't read it yet but will and rarely if ever does Winke write something I don't like. Two of my favorite writers are Winke and Bill Heavey

Thanks for doing that Mike! That's actually what led me to it. His other blogs are good too. Bill Winke is an excellent writer, I've always enjoyed his work!
