Very lucky...

Well, it could have been a lot worse... I wiped out on a Rip-stick (I think that is what they are called. It is like a skate board with only one wheel at the front and back and you balance and wobble your feet back and forth to move the board. Well, it was my first and last time on one. I thought I would try it out... Needless to say, when I finally thought I had the hang of it... the board rocketed out from under my feet and down I went. Landed right on the blacktop... and the worst part was the first thing to hit was my left elbow. Mind you the elbow I have pins and a steel plate in from a freak pole vault accident in college. It is cut up a little and will be sore for a few daysm but nothing this old man could not take. Got to thinking that it could have been a lot worse and I could have broke it again or something which would have kept me from shooting bow. Thank goodness that was not the case. I guess the moral of the story is... Dave tried something dumb and could have beeen hurt a lot worse... don't be a Dave.

Hahahahahah dude im glad you didnt get hurt but its hilarious how you said "Dave did something dumb". I just pictured that thing flying out from under you and your feet flying up in the air. HAHA seriously tho dude im glad you werent hurt and everything is cool. So the question that comes to my mind is, you were a pole vaulter??????????

Glad you didn't do any damage, it really does stink missing an entire archery season with a busted wing. But come on Dave, you need to take it easy, you're not 29 anymore!

Glad you are ok Dave..... Dont feel too dumb about it cause we have all done dumb things that could have turned out worse, or did turn out to be the worst, lol. I wont mention some of the dumb things ive tried and learned a lesson on

Yeah, I started my freshman year of high school and then did it through college. Got a small scholarship for it and for throwing the javelin. Would have rether played fotball in college, but my college did not have it...

That is crazy. So is that the new saying, 'don't be a Dave' or 'you just pulled a Dave'. I'm just joking. Good thing is that you didn't not jeopardize any bow shooting or bow hunting.
