Well they got all the fields planted in soybeans today. These fields are about 100 yards away from the last set of pics that I posted today. These fields are way back and secluded, so I am getting so pumped for season to roll around. This spot that I found has not been hunted in a lot of years and I discovered it while shed hunting this spring. There were about 4 trails that all intersected and rubs and scrapes galore with a beautiful mature white oak just waiting for a set to be hung in. so I will be keeping the camera in this spot all summer and see what happens.

A great spot like that needs a friend to hunt it with you, wink wink.

Good luck with it this year. Sounds like a great place to hunt

I would keep the camera there too. Just don't over pressure it going for the cards/pics. At least you have good battery life (I don't). Sounds like it may be a staging area where the deer hang until heading for the food. Spots like these are awesome. You should find a giant or two coming or going this year. I will run a video camera for you so we can lay down some great footage when you whack one!

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else besides somewhere near that white oak when the acorns start dropping. Sounds like you've found yourself a good spot...
