New camera:

Well, my uncle and I finally ordered a new camera today an decided to go with a SONY HVR HD1000U mini dv with a Manfrotto 701 HDV Fluid Head. Got a camo camera bag and it comes with a shotgun mic. All I have to do is put my order in for a new muddy arm and I am ready to rock. So looking forward to get some good footage with it. My unlce and I are going to be spending a lot time in the woods this year and doing a lot of velvet filming to. Hopefully my wife will understand. I will post some pics of the new set up once I get it.

Congrats on a nice camera. Is that one a mini dv tape one? SHould work great for you. Make sure you get with Mike to get the number to call Muddy and talk to the right person. Congrats again. Post up some pictures when you get it. Looks like Jimmy is working his way into the DVD mode
