Mrs Volway and myself are looking for a camera if anyone knows of one available. Don't want to put a mortgage on the house to get one though.LOL

You can find some really good Canon GL2's on ebay for under $1,000

not HD?? you can look at a Canon HV 30 it's HD, you can buy one for less than $700.....it's Lux is'nt as low as the GL2 I believe.
