This was my first year ever hunting with a muzzleloader. I took a nice doe. Shot her at just under 50 yards. I was using a T/C Omega Z5 with a Nikon Omega scope. I rested the gun on the rail of my climbing stand and after the smoke cleared I saw the deer take two steps forward and then two steps back. She then dropped in the same exact spot I first squeezed the trigger at. I was using 250 grain T/C Chockwave Super Glide Sabots. It was a great hunt with 3 of my best hunting buddies.

Only thing that could have made it better is if my buddies would have also cashed in...

I haven't ML hunted for about 10 years or so. I really need to get back out there and use this gun.
