| Someone was looking down on me for sure, found out Thursday that my wife and I are expecting our 2nd child and then to top it off, opening morning found me in my favorite pasture bottom. At 10 mins till 7am I could hear a hen tree yelpin lightly, 5 mins after 7am she comes a cacklin down to the pasture behind me about 100 plus yards. She was just a yelping, (green light) I start yelping back to her lightly at first and alittle more agressive. I couldn't believe the reaction, she became PO'ed that another hen as moved in. Within seconds she was with in 15ft of me walking into my decoys. As she is making her way through the fake flock I hear something coming down the mountain through the leaves, not being able to move, I keep watch out of the corner of my eye and there he is a big black ball, spitting and drummin, (which was the first time I have ever heard that and WOW) he came to the creek and flew right over he made his way to my jake mobile at 25yds, as he started to consider thumping my little buddie I let the mossberg speak, 20lbs 10inch beard, 1inch spurs  | |
