Anyone do any fall turkey hunting? Got this gobbler last week when it was too hot for the deer to move. Set up the blind at my buddy's pond. Two birds came in for a drink and I was lucky enough to put a 36 yard shot on one. Used an Innerloc Falcon Claw broad head and flat out hammered him.

Congrats on the bird. I always hunt them in the fall here. We still have a few weeks to wait till season is in but the way it looks it shouldn't be a difficult task. They're all over here right now. Listened to young ones doing their best at gobblin this morning.

Always have my eye open for them. Had five come in down in Kentucky but no shot

Congrats. The county I hunt in MD does not have a fall season. I wish they did.
