| CA and I was blessed with the chance to go and hunt our honey hole again today. We experienced the lowest of low's to hightest of high's and back to the lowest of low's. Well atleast for me. I was able to crack a shot of at a decent 10 and was unable to conect. He was out at 45 yards and I had to grunt at him to get him to stop. Thinking he was alert and was going to duck the string I held at the bottom of his belly and let her fly. Instead of ducking the string he stood there like a statue and the arrow just went under him. This was the longest shot I have ever taken but with a lot of practice felt confident. All I can do is chalk it up to another experience out in the woods. That is why the call it hunting. We will be back out again on Sat. ready to try again. CA will hopefully post the footage later. | |
