I have until the 17th to wait for archery season to open. I have been checking the site and seing the deer that are getting killed and guys talking about setting in the stand. Its killing me not to be 20 feet up in the air setting out watching the wildlife waiting and hoping for that chance to see a big old buck walk by my stand. This truly is a great time of the year. The leaves are starting to drop as well as the temp and the deer are starting to move. What a great gift we have been given. I wish everyone has great luck this year if nothing else enjoy the time you have out on stand.

The wait gets long at times I know, Kinda feel bad for you, cause you can't go out and hunt and I havn't been out since I shot Stickers. But I will be hitting it hard this weekend on some new land I got to hunt. BH

Hand in there bud... You will be hitting the woods at a great time and I am sure you are tuned up and ready to go. You know the saying, "Good things come to those who wait." Well, hopefully your "good thing" for having to wait so long for your season will be a monster whitetail!

yeah that last week or so seems to take forever. but youll be out there before you know it looking threw the peep sight at a big ole buck

HMMM.. Guess I am stiil the only one who does that. I used to sleep with my bats in HS and College when I was in a slump. My bed gets crowed now with softball bats and bows.

I know guys it will be here soon Romer your right man the last week or so always seems to take the longest. I will be in the stand before long just getting excited about this year with the bucks and bears I have been seeing around here and at my buddys place.
