That was a good pic Mike. I have a pic of my first deer I will scan the pic and get it posted im sure you guys will have fun picking on me about the pic

Here is a pic of mine. I shot him 15 minutes after daylight on opening day of my first year bow hunting. He was a 6 point. I had some pretty great camo back then.

Thats awesome Chad... great pic! Bet you can recall the events of that morning like it happened yesterday.

You bet I can buddy it was a great day. I had to be at school that morning because I had a soccer game and could not be late to school. My buddy went with me I hung 2 stands one for him a few hundred yards from mine. I got in my stand and the sun started to come up. I heard something I did not know what it was at the time but it was the buck rubbing a tree. He walked in and I shot him at around 30 yards. I watched him run off and I just sat down could not beleive it happened that fast. About 10 minutes later my buddy came walking back to my stand and said he could not find his stand I told him to look down and there was the bloodtrail. Yoy want to talk about rookie hunter. I did not even have a knife with me I eneded up taking apart one of my wasp broadheads and used that to gut him. I made it back to school with about 5 minutes to spare. I remeber how excited I was to go to school and tell everyone about it.

Great story Chad... Did you win the soccer game that day too?

We did not lose alot of games in school so im sure we did. My school was big in soccer. I have a few trophys and some county champ jackets still hanging in my closet. I think there where 3 years that we lost a total of like 5 games.
