Tommy and I was able to get out on October 30. Everything seemed right but the deer were not in there normal pattern. We bumped a few from the stand going in. Once the sun rose we seen some deer movement in the distance it just seemed like they were being held up from coming in. Came back for the afternoon hunt and we were talking that the conditions were right but something was just wrong. We had 1 deer come in just before dark at 20yds. It was a yearling doe. She came from where the wind was blowing our scent. We did not expect any deer to come from that location. I ended up taking her after I confirmed it was not a button buck and videoed it all going down. I just couldn't resist the tender back strap. We never could figure out what was wrong. Sorry it took so long to post.
