I had a friend that was duck hunting in one of our big state lakes. While he was getting out of the boat the dog scuffeled around in the boat and somehow hit the trigger and the gun went off hitting him in the stomach. Dang near killed him. We all tell him how careless he was by leaving the gun loaded while getting onto shore.

I heard this story on the radio. General gun safety was the first to come to mind.

We had a dog the loved guns, every time you shot it'll run right over and try to grab it off you. I remember one time shooting a revolver not knowing he wasn't tied up. Came up from behind getting hand and gun all at once. Crazy lab was fine as long as nothing went BANG.
