In the evening hunts, if you dont know where they are roosting, what is the best action to take? Any feed back is helpfull, and appreciated. Thanks alot for your time.
Evening hunts are pretty tough if you don't know the roosting spot. It's better to just take a night and try and find them. As Mark said, and owl call or something at last light can really help. Other than that you just have to put some leather on the ground and go find them. Turkey will generally use the same route each day unless they are busted out of it by pressure so if you find the roost then you can generally narrow down how they are getting to it and then you'll have your nightly set up
