New Stand Came in today

Going to hang my new stand tonight, How high should i go i have a 20 foot climbing stick a 16 foot climbing stick i can add to the 20 and tree steps. The tree im going to hang it in is midway up a ridge. should i try to get 30 out of it or stay in the 20s

Hang it however high youcan get without getting out of you backdrop of the other trees .. You don't want to get yourself silhouetted if you get too high..also an extremely high stand makes a sharper angle you have to shoot the deer.,.

I would stay within the 20's about 20-25

over 20' less than 30' for me usually

what kind of stand did you get buddy?

How high u end up hanging it ?

hoping to hang it tonight, it will depend on the tree i end up using but probably 20-25 feet with a film stand above it.
