how high do u hang them?

i normally hang mine from 15 to 18 ft off the ground i haer alot of people talking that you need to be a little higher than than but the average ladder satnd is only 15 to 18.. and i dont seem to getted spotted often and have them walk by be with no idea im there..

it really depends on the tree but I would say on an average its somewhere around 20 feet, if I'm in my climber I try to go as high as I can

Ladder is 15, my hang on i have a 20' stick ladder, and a few screw in steps i'm 25 feet up.

Just depends on if it's archery or gun season. For bow season I prefer 18 to 20 feet but in gun season I'll go for the stars. I have hung stands at 25 feet and got to 35 feet in my climber. Funny thing is I got busted the day I hunted at 35 feet so I don't think it matters. I just like the vantage point and shooting benefits at that height

If im in the deep in the woods maybe like 20-25 feet but if im on the edge of a field i try to stay in the woods a little and not climb so i that i get skylined.

Usually 20' for me but it just all depends on the situation. Have bowkilled deer 6' up in a spot that wouldn't allow me to go higher.

Terrain plays a major factor in how high i will hang a stand, if im on the top of a hill i will hang a stand as low as 15 feet but at the bottom of a hill i get as high as i can go, my average height ii around 18-25 feet
